Welcome !  All of our classes are "all-levels."  There is no need to take a "beginner" course.  Total beginners start in our classes every day.  Simply choose the "type" of class you prefer...our "Vinyasa" (recommended for individuals who are physically active and looking to improve overall physical conditioning)  or "Flow" (recommended for individuals who prefer a more gentle, soothing class).

Monday:
 

  • 9:15 am -  Vinyasa (w/Lisa)  
  • 6:00 pm  -Vinyasa   

 

Tuesday:

  • 9:15am  Vinyasa (w/Kelly)
  • 5:30   45-Minute Body Sculpt Yoga  ($9 drop-in rate/
    $35 for 5 class package) 
  • 6:30 pm  - Vinyasa   

Wednesday:

    • 9:15 am -   Vinyasa (w/Weese) 
    • 4 - 5pm - Vinyasa hour  (NOTE:  NO CLASS MAY 23rd)
    • 6:00 pm   - Vinyasa   
    • 7:30 pm  - Soothing Flow Yoga (w/Gail)

Thursday:   

  • 9:15 am - Vinyasa   (w/Erin)
  • 6:00 pm - Vinyasa

Friday:   

  • 9:15 am - Vinyasa   (w/Gail)
    (Teacher will give a little extra TLC to total beginners in this class.)

Saturday:

  • 8:30    - Vinyasa  
  • 10:15am - Soothing Flow Yoga (w/ Kathleen)
  • 3:00  -  Vinyasa 

Sunday:

  • 9:00 am - Vinyasa  
  • 12 Noon - Power Hour (w/Susan)

Yoga Class Prices

Drop-in rate for yoga classes:  $15
Drop-in rate for Body-Sculpt Yoga:  $9 (class is 45 min. long)

Freezing/Extending or Holding Packages:  Yoga U offers very generous expiration periods on packages.  Expiration dates may only be put on hold due to sickness or if injury prevents you from coming to class.  It is the student's responsibility to notify us at the time of illness or injury.  A note from a doctor will be required.  Pregnancy is not an illness.  Unused classes are nontransferable, nonrefundable and may not be extended to accommodate business or vacation travel dates.

Class Descriptions:

Vinyasa:    (Offered Every Day / Heated / Great "Workout" yoga )

Recommended for:  Active, healthy individuals who are interested in a physical class that will provide you with a total body workout.  It is appropriate for beginners who are in an established fitness routine.  This class would not be appropriate for anyone with health issues or those who have been inactive or may be returning to physical activity.  

All Levels Vinyasa yoga is a complete fitness system.  It is the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.  This class is sure to satisfy those wanting a physical challenge while experiencing the essence and teachings of yoga.  No yoga experience OR flexibility is needed for this "must add" class to your current fitness routine.  The strong, flowing sequencing will build body heat which will help you to go deeper into the postures than you ever thought possible.  This class will help you to shed unwanted pounds, strengthen and tone muscles and increase your flexibility.  Come ready to get into your best physical condition possible.  Come ready to release stress.  Beginners simply need to bring their patience and desire to feel fantastic.

45-Minute Body Sculpt Yoga   (Tue. at 5:30 / 45 minutes / Heated)

Short on time?  Then this class could be just what you are looking for.  An up-beat peppy class with a focus on core conditioning, and total body sculpting.  This class incorporates traditional yoga postures including sun salutations and standing poses for a very comprehensive yoga body-sculpting quick fix.  You will be suprised at what you can do in 45 minutes ! 

Flow Yoga :  Great For Boomers !  (Soothing / Restful / Not Heated)

Saturday Mornings:  10:15 with Kathleen

Learn Yoga in this great class that is a unique blend of soft vinyasa and mellow Iyengar with an emphasis on alignment and physical awareness.  Accessible to students of all ages and levels - you will be encouraged to find your own individual interpretation of classical asanas while focusing on the movement of breath and energy through the body. 

 
Wednesday Evening:  7:30pm with Gail

Let go of stress and come enjoy this fluid, slower-paced class that focuses on internal poses that are appropriate for this time in the evening.  Dissolve tension and create a sense of calm.  Cultivate strength, stamina, flexibility and balance.  This class will help you come into the night with less stress in the body and the mind.
