Yoga Class Descriptions:


All Levels vinyasa:    (Offered Every Day)
("Heated" Yoga)

Recommended for:  Active, healthy individuals who are interested in a physical class that will provide you with a total body workout.  It is appropriate for beginners who are in an established fitness routine.  This class would not be appropriate for anyone with health issues or those who have been inactive or may be returning to physical activity.  

All Levels Vinyasa yoga is a complete fitness system.  It is the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.  This class is sure to satisfy those wanting a physical challenge while experiencing the essence and teachings of yoga.  No yoga experience OR flexibility is needed for this "must add" class to your current fitness routine.  The strong, flowing sequencing will build body heat which will help you to go deeper into the postures than you ever thought possible.  This class will help you to shed unwanted pounds, strengthen and tone muscles and increase your flexibility.  Come ready to get into your best physical condition possible.  Come ready to release stress.  Beginners simply need to bring their patience and desire to feel fantastic.

Tuesday Mornings:  9:30am with Kathleen.
Saturday Mornings:  10:15 with Kathleen.

Learn Yoga in this great class that is a unique blend of soft vinyasa and mellow Iyengar with an emphasis on alignment and physical awareness.  Accessible to students of all ages and levels - you will be encouraged to find your own individual interpretation of classical asanas while focusing on the movement of breath and energy through the body. 

Wednesday Evening:  7:30pm with Gail. 
Let go of stress and come enjoy this fluid, slower-paced class that focuses on internal poses that are appropriate for this time in the evening.  Dissolve tension and create a sense of calm.  Cultivate strength, stamina, flexibility and balance.  This class will help you come into the night with less stress in the body and the mind. 

Yoga Abs:
("Heated")

Offered Tuesday's at 5:30 (Class is 45 minutes)

Recommended for: Anyone interested in flattening the abs, strengthening the back and calming the mind. Cardio and Pilates enthusiasts are sure to enjoy this class !

Short on time?  Then this class could be just what you are looking for.  An up-beat peppy class that primarily focuses on core conditioning.  This class incorporates some traditional yoga to warm the body, and abdominal, traditional and pilates exercises for targeting all the muscle groups of the "powerhouse."  Give us just 45 minutes and  we will help you to leave feeling lighter and stronger.  The warm environment helps to detoxify the body.
